Lake Side News
With diving season in full swing you may be thinking about your gear its condition or the fact you need some more.

Your scuba gear adapts you to the underwater world and makes you part of it.  You do the diving, but your scuba gear makes it possible.  The mask allowing you to see clearly underwater, the regulator allowing you to breath and the exposure suit allows you to remain comfortable and protected by retaining body heat and fending off possible abrasions or the occasional jelly fish tentacle.

When selecting gear it is important to remember a few things, comfort, fit and ease of maintenance to name a few.  While diving gear may be expensive we always recommend that you try before you buy to ensure that your investment will receive long-term gains by performing as expected and providing the life support as all diving equipment must do.

Gear selection also depends on your type of diving.  While you can dive almost anywhere there’s water the gear selected will vary somewhat depending upon your diving environment, as well as your preferences.

Stop by the Dive Shack and let our staff help you with your current gear or future gear selections.

We still are working on the pavilions and have two more up.  Work around these continues as we improve our infrastructure so please watch your step until we are finished.  There are still a couple pavilions yet to complete and we hope everyone can enjoy the extra assembly space we have created.

Please remember that pavilion use is by reservation only; with the sponsoring dive shop always having priority and prior reservation.  If you are looking to bring your group down and would like to use one please call the dive shop the day prior or inquire at the time you check in to see what is available.

See you at the lake!!
